Jay Mack Community Foundation Announces 2nd Annual Holiday Jamboree to Support Guilford County Families in Need

Greensboro, NC — The Jay Mack Community Foundation is proud to announce the return of its 2nd Annual Holiday Jamboree, a heartwarming holiday celebration created to support needy families across Guilford County. This year’s event is being presented in collaboration with New Jerusalem Cathedral and generously supported by Toys for Tots, making it an even more impactful community effort. The Holiday Jamboree is designed to relieve the financial pressure many families face during the holiday season by providing toys, activities, and community resources in a festive, family-centered environment. The event will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM, at the Frank & Florence Williams Event Center located at 1824 Sharpe Road, Greensboro, NC 27406. Thanks to Toys for Tots. unwrapped, new toys will be provided for registered children, and New Jerusalem Cathedral will lead an additional toy donation effort to expand the event’s reach to even more families in need. Eligible families—those residing in Guilford County with children 6 months to 14 years old—are invited to register for free toys and participate in a joyful afternoon filled with a festive Photo Booth for family holiday keepsakes, a Holiday Craft Station for children, a Toy-Wrapping Station for parents. There will also be holiday sweet treats and refreshments, as well as Holiday music and a family-friendly atmosphere. There will be other nonprofits and community partners offering valuable resources for families and children in the community. “This event represents the heart of our mission,” said Lakeshia Pearsall, Executive Director of the Jay Mack Community Foundation. “With the support of New Jerusalem Cathedral and Toys for Tots, we are able to make the holidays brighter for families who need it most. Our goal is to create joy, give relief, and connect families to services that can support them long after the holidays end.” The Foundation is also inviting 3–5 nonprofits or community-focused organizations to participate at no cost. These organizations will have the opportunity to meet families directly, share resources, and support children and parents in meaningful ways.
