Jay Mack Community Foundation Announces Board of Directors

[Greensboro, NC, July 18, 202] — The Jay Mack Community Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of its inaugural Board of Directors. This diverse and dynamic group of individuals brings a wealth of experience and expertise to guide the foundation’s mission of empowering local families and children through education, support, and community engagement.

The Board of Directors:

•          Taja Tatum – Volunteer Coordinator

•          Corbie Hill – Creative Wellness Director

•          Marvin Williamson – Legal Advisor/Counsel

•          L’Teisha Curtis – Education Coordinator

•          Candis Green– Youth Initiatives Manager

•          Shavonne Joyner – Applied Behavior Analysis Coordinator

 Douglas Pearsall, the foundation’s CEO, expressed his enthusiasm about the new board, stating, "We are honored to have such a dedicated and talented group of individuals joining our team. One of the foundation’s upcoming events is the third annual Back to School Community Bash, scheduled for August 17, 2024, at LeBauer Park in downtown Greensboro. This event will provide essential school supplies to local students and feature a day of fun activities, performances, and community resources.
