Walmart Donates $1,000 to Jay Mack Community Foundation’s Back to School Community Bash

Greensboro, NC – July 18, 2024 – The Jay Mack Community Foundation is thrilled to announce a generous donation of $1,000 from Walmart #1842 in support of the upcoming Back to School Community Bash. This event, scheduled for August 17, 2024, from 11 am to 3 pm at LeBauer Park, aims to equip children and families in Greensboro with the essential resources and support they need for a successful start to the new school year.

The Back to School Community Bash will feature a variety of activities and entertainment, including performances by the NC A&T State University Cheerleaders and the Aggie Dog, as well as an appearance by the Greensboro Fire Department. Throughout the day, attendees will enjoy music, food, and fun, ensuring an engaging and memorable experience for all.

Walmart’s contribution will significantly enhance the event’s ability to provide school supplies, educational resources, and interactive activities designed to inspire and empower local students and their families.
